XPS 13 9315 screen flickering on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

Hello,

I noticed that the screen on my XPS 13 9315 starts to flicker on still images. This is especially noticable on darker gray tones. I suspect that this is caused by the Intel DRRS lowering the refresh rate when there are no updates happening on screen. I know that there have been issues with DRRS on Linux in the past. On Windows there is an option to turn it off, I can't find any way to disable it on Linux though without modifying the kernel. Is this a known issue on XPS devices?
